Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Chef Helper to join our culinary team in Bucharest, Romania. As a Chef Helper, you will assist the head chef and kitchen staff with various tasks, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for cooking and a desire to grow in the culinary field.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and basic cooking tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring all areas are sanitized.
Assist in plating dishes according to the chef’s instructions.
Help with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring stock is properly rotated and stored.
Support in preparing sauces, garnishes, and other components as required by the chef.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not required.
A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and equipment.
Good communication skills in English and/or Romanian.
